Surveys and Appraisals

We undertake a wide range of surveys and appraisals for prospective tenants or purchasers of commercial offices.

These are generally undertaken for clients prior to an investment purchase or leasing a building with a view to fitting out for offices, data centre etc.

Our reports are produced in a clear and concise format with photographs of specific defects.

Signing a fully repairing lease can commit a tenant to future financial penalties due to replacement of defective major plant or an air conditioning system which is inefficient and outdated.

We can advise on the degree of difficulty of fitouts and therefore cost of fitting out a building to suit the clients needs. The mechanical and electrical services may have been designed for open plan offices and be totally unsuitable without major modification for clients who require cellular offices and meeting rooms.

Detailed surveys and production of planned plant replacement programmes (generally over a ten year period) in database format are undertaken to enable large estate management portfolios to be effectively managed and maintained.

As well as carrying out surveys for clients direct we also provide support to larger companies that have a short term requirement and have done so on many occasions.
